Humsat is an international educational initiative, supported by multiple international organizations such as ESA and UNOOSA, for building a constellation of nano-satellites providing communication capabilities to areas without infrastructure. The first satellite demonstrator, Humsat-D, was developed in the University of Vigo, resulting in the second Galician satellite.

The spacecraft was successfully launched on November 2013 and I took part on this project as a GS operator from the MCC of the University of Vigo. This activities include Operation of the Satellite (routinely operations, experiments programming, telemetry download, etc) and the facilities maintenance (antennas calibration, rotor maintenance, etc).
